Janice Hally and Peter May
take time away from their own writing each year to offer Creative Writing Courses in the beautiful French market town of St Cere.

"Kick Start Your Project" is a 7-day Course, during which writers undertake an intensive series of workshops and tutorials interspersed with some of the finest food and wine the region has to offer. With bed, breakfast and four-course gourmet evening meals at the charming and aptly named Hotel Victor Hugo included in the price, the Courses which began in 2002 are gaining a reputation around the world. Hally and May strictly limit the numbers on each Course so that each writer gets the maximum amount of individual attention. Writers arrive with the germ of an idea, and after 7 days they leave with their characters developed and story structure mapped out, equipped to write their novel, screenplay, play or TV series.
