The journey from London to Paris (Gare du Nord) takes about 3hrs
Be sure to allow sufficient time between trains in Paris to get from Gare du Nord to Gare d'Austerlitz and to allow for delays (at least 1hr to 1hr 30m)

Notes for those travelling by train:
The
last possible train to get you here in time for dinner leaves Paris at
around 2pm (Paris to Brive, then Brive to Bretenoux-Biars), arriving
Bretenoux-Biars just before 7pm.
The local train waits at Brive to connect with the train from Paris, so no need to worry about delays.
